Architecture in plain English – not plain English architecture

Matthew Franklin - mbf DESIGN

mbf DESIGN offers a fresh approach to architecture – no buzzwords or jargon, just good communication, leading to good design. And a result that suits you, right down to the ground.

My name’s Matthew Franklin. I’ve been working in architecture for over a decade and I run Ask The Architect, the free Friday afternoon architecture surgery. I set up my Shropshire architecture practice, mbf DESIGN, in September 2009, to offer a modern approach to a traditional profession.

mbf DESIGN works at every level – from small projects right up to multi-million pound developments, right across the UK.

I believe that good architecture should be available to everyone. “Bespoke” doesn’t have to mean “expensive”. When you contact mbf DESIGN for your first consultation, my priority is to get to know you. I’ll work with you directly to help you work out what you need – whether it’s help with one or two stages of a project, or a full architectural service – giving you realistic and simple advice.

What would it take to create your perfect place of work, or your ideal home?

Perhaps it’s easier than you think.

If you’d like to talk about ideas for a project, discuss our services in more detail, or even arrange a meeting at home or away, book a free consultation now.
